About
What Made Milwaukee Famous has been a staple of the Austin music scene since forming in 2003. Fronted by singer/songwriter Michael Kingcaid, the band embraced stylistic freedom, refusing to be boxed into any one sound. Their first two albums, Trying To Never Catch Up and What Doesn't Kill Us, released on Seattle's Barsuk Records, earned acclaim for pairing adventurous songwriting with addictive hooks.
