Wavy

WAVY is a Budapest-based music and art collective founded in January 2022. The 19-member group—comprising rappers, DJs, producers, visual artists, and creatives—operates at the intersection of alternative and experimental hip-hop, lo-fi, garage, and house. Their motto “Lo and Slo” reflects their philosophy of slow, organic growth within Hungary’s music and creative scene.Their debut album BABEL surpassed 2 million Spotify streams and was named one of the best debut releases of 2023 by Telex. In 2024, they released their second album Y (¥), which they presented with a sold-out show at Dürer Kert in Budapest. Later that year they followed with the Menni Mixtape, showcasing a more experimental side of their sound. In spring 2025, WAVY embarked on an eight-city Hungarian tour, culminating in a final show at Dürer Kert in Budapest.
