Wasabi Jackson is no stranger to the Denver scene, having worked in the industry for 15 years as a DJ, club event curator, and label head. Outside of his work behind the scenes, Corey has steadily honed his craft as a producer, releasing music with a host of underground crews including the all:Lo Collective, Subciety, and most recently, Soundz Organic. When he’s not putting out his own music, he runs two labels called Misfit Media and FringeWorthy, highlighting the darker, more experimental side of dubstep and beyond, which has created a platform for producers carving their own path through an often saturated and predictable market. Taking inspiration from a plethora of “bass music” genres, and infusing it with his long time love for hip-hop, Wasabi Jackson has found his groove in one of America’s brightest music scenes, and proven to be a name to watch in 2023.
