About
Tony Gamboa began his DJ career in 1992, playing House and Techno in underground warehouse parties and events all over Southern California. In 1995, he met Thee-O, founder of one of the most long lasting and impactful DJ collectives in Los Angeles, Biohazard Productions. Their shared love of music grew into a fruitful relationship made up of multiple music and event projects. Encore, New Year’s Eve 1998 had to be the climax of the decade for Tony. With over 8,000 strong packed in the National Orange Show warehouse, Tony seized the moment and brought in the New Year with an unforgettable set that party goers were talking about well after the event was over. It didn’t take long for promoters to recognize his talent and Tony’s music career took off from there. Already well known in his local scene of Los Angeles, Tony began spreading his sound abroad. He has performed in New York, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, Oregon, Washington and is often spinning in Northern California, where he has become a local favorite.
