Tommy Odetto

While many found 2020 challenging to say the least; Bay AreaNative, Tommy Odetto took a massive leap of faith. He packed up his guitars, left all that he knew behind and made himself a new home in Milwaukee, WI. Like so many musicians, 2020 left Odetto with a lot of free time on his hands. He wrote a lot of music. He reinvigorated his love for the blues. Late last year he found himself recording new music with Producer Jeff Hamilton (Violent Femmes) and Percussionist Daxx Nielsen (CheapTrick). The first single, ON THE RUN, is his proclamation to a life dedicated to chasing the dream of rock and roll. The remainder of the EP, SOUL ON ARRIVAL, is due later this Spring. It will feature Odetto’s searing guitar licks, along with a heavy influence of the Delta Blues. There is no one genre that sums up Odetto’s sound. He is inspired by all music and it shows in his energy and style.  Odetto has performed at festivals Bottlerock Napa Valley 2018 and the Wisconsin Harley-Davidson Milwaukee HOG Rally in 2019. He has opened for major bands including Cheap Trick, Chevy Metal, Robert Cray, Foreigner,Marshall Tucker Band, Uriah Heep, Ace Frehley  and Robin Trower; and has toured seven cities in four states with Blues Legend John Mayall. He was also a regular fill-in for Big Brother and the Holding Company for several years.
