Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, Jeremy Glenn and Dylan Jones are The Upbeats, one of the most legendary DJ/production teams to emerge out of the fertile New Zealand music scene. Known for their eclectic tastes and energetic stage presence, The Upbeats deliver speaker-rattling sets to shake all manner of crowds, from festival glitterati at Pukkelpop, Shambhala and Glastonbury, to diehard bassheads at Outlook, EDC and Boomtown. Dancefloor banger, EDM clanger, introspective emo, promising demo – all have their place in an Upbeats’ set. Whilst refining their craft on stage, The Upbeats have been redefining what is possible in the studio. Comfortably flexing their studio skills from emotional material for the headphones to dance-floor bangers for the club has given The Upbeats sway to collaborate with or remix for the likes of Ed Rush and Optical, Noisia, Bad Company, Ivy Lab, Culture Shock, Halogenix, Shapeshifter and Submotion Orchestra, amongst many others.
