Born and raised in the small prairie town of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Tenille Arts picked up the guitar and wrote her first song at age 13 and has been performing ever since, amassing nearly a billion global streams. Her critically acclaimed album Love, Heartbreak, & Everything In Between produced her first No. 1 single, “Somebody Like That,” which is RIAA-certified double platinum. The song made history as the first No. 1 Country hit written, produced, and performed entirely by women, the first by a Canadian artist to top the U.S. Country chart since 2007, and the first Canadian female to do so since 2004.
