The Silo Sisters is a songwriter supergroup of multi-instrumentalists Bonnie Sims, Phoebe Hunt, and Melody Walker. The trio first came together in 2023 inside an abandoned silo while teaching at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Song School, where late-night songs and kindred spirits gave rise to a collaboration that felt less invented than uncovered. They first carried that spark outward on TikTok with their viral original song The Missing Stair, which became an anthem for survivors of abuse. Though each sister walks her own expansive musical path, Sims, Hunt, and Walker return to the circle again and again to create something larger than themselves: a gathering place where unflinching songwriting, roots-rich musicianship, and spellbinding harmonies open hidden rooms inside the listener.
