Sandy’s emerged in the wake of The Botticellis and became one of Alexi Glickman’s most enduring musical projects: a fluid Bay Area band shaped by open-tuned shimmer, surf atmosphere, and harmonically rich songwriting. With Burton Li, Jeremy Black, Nick Aives, and later Dave Muller, Sandy’s developed a sound that moves easily between structure and drift across Fourth Dementia, Prom, Chime, and Magic Mind.
