Misaki Umei

Birthplace: Kakogawa, Hyogo, Japan Misaki Umei began playing the piano at age 4 and started her journey with the Electone and composition at age 6. After winning numerous awards in piano and Electone competitions, she graduated from the Composition Department of Tokyo College of Music. As a rising pianist and composer, Umei is recognized for her fluid versatility. In addition to her solo work, she is also active in “°pbdb” with Fuki Kitamura, representing a new generation of boundary-defying musicians.
