About
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I had my first guitar for a month before I knew how to play it. But I was still in love with it. My best friend taught me my first chord- A minor- sitting on his couch. When I strummed it, I felt a resonance in my body that I will never forget.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? C.W. Stoneking, Jungle Blues Jeff Buckley, Original Album Classics: Jeff Buckley - The Grace EP's Jolie Holland, Catalpa “Catalpa” - It’s incredibly powerful while maintaining honesty and simplicity. “Jungle Blues” - It’s a book, a movie, a musical, all in one album. “Grace" - It perfectly articulates a whole host of what I thought were indescribable human feelings.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Alone At the Table” “Alone at the Table”. It functions as a home for a great deal of my life’s history and my relationship with my Sister. For me, it's a twenty year story told within one moment of two people sitting silently at a table together.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Leading a fake funeral procession with the Rainbow Girls through a music festival in order to get a crowd to follow us to our stage. Totally worked. The more than 250 character version of this story is way better.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I really want to crowd surf but I think I missed the boat on that one. Lol.
