MadeinTYO, (Made in Tokyo) doesn’t have your typical rapper backstory. As the son of a Naval Officer, he moved around frequently until his family landed in Tokyo for his teenage years. Influenced by the cultural melting pot around him and inspired by his older brother, producer/artist 24hrs, Madeintyo began to turn his passion for music & style into a career. While launching his collective “The Private Club”, his bass-heavy production influenced a new genre of rap music with a playful approach to lyrics. With over 1 billion streams worldwide, he was the first artist in his lane to break at radio, opening the doors for many new artists.
