Lissie

Lissie's first body-of-work since 2022’s acclaimed Carving Canyons album, her new EP "Promises" (out Aug. 22), compiles a collection of cover songs that speak her current emotional language and hold meaning to her life. The Promises EP features songs which offer varying slants on the theme of a commitment, from Lissie's take on The Pretenders’ classic “I’ll Stand By You", which she sang to her husband at their wedding reception, to Alphaville‘s “Forever Young”, The Bangles’ "Eternal Flame’", Fleetwood Mac’s "Everywhere", Simon & Garfunkel’s "America’ and Low’s "Just Make It Stop".
