Lando & The Infinite Sadness

Lando & the Infinite Sadness is the musical project of songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Josue Vargas. Inspired by an expansive and diverse range of sound, Lando & the Infinite Sadness has expanded to bridge the gap between genres, beginning with roots in emo and indie rock on 2019’s “Forever”, delving into Jazz and lofi Hip-Hop fusion on 2020’s “Dark Matter”, and incorporating elements of sample flipping and production work on 2022’s “Voyager”. This evolutionary style is grounded by nuance; the focus always revolves around an acute attention to detail in songwriting, foundational and interesting grooves, and an ever present sense of rich melody. Following the release of the singles “Severed Heads and Wine” and “Simulation 4” in 2024, Lando and the Infinite Sadness incorporates all of these elements and ties them together flawlessly, resulting in focused, meaningful, and, of course, melancholic music which situates expansive and melodic sounds within sharply focused songs that offer something new and dynamic with each listen.
