Having started the KNOXZ alias 6 years ago, Patrick Felony, has definitely made his mark cultivating a unique sound in drum and bass. With 4 solo tunes signed to the infamous Renegade Hardware imprint you can bet he was coming full force in 2017 shortly after his debut. KNOXZ not only is a well rounded producer; but also has the skills as an MC and lyricist to captivate an audience and record top 100 beatport releases such as his collaborative works on Abducted and Schedule One recordings (‘Blackout’ and ‘Shock & Awe.’). His first remix also was another top 100 beatport release and got featured on the compilation Lp, The Wild Bunch Vol. 3, with artists such as Downlink, Calvatron, and Nick Bee to name a few. This guy was just waiting in the shadows for his time to rise and talking about rise, his Beneath the Surface mix series, with over 100+ mixes, is sure to breach into your playlist when rolling through the streets or pre-gaming for a night out. KNOXZ is working hard putting out quality sets and music along with constantly being an active member in the local Florida D&B, Dubstep, and Grime scenes. He’s been involved with numerous events bringing talents all across the globe. From good friends, The Voss, Legion, AK1200, Dara, and Machete to Optiv, Maztek, Total Science, State of Mind, Zardonic, Dieselboy, and Prolix. KNOXZ truly wouldn’t know what to do with his life if it weren’t for drum and bass and bringing that sound to his home town is just one of the passions for it. Pushing outside of his home town, Florida, he was apart of the state wide – all American Lp on Flex Industries, Altered States, which charted to the #7 D&B album on Juno. Best part about it, AK1200 put together the official mix and brought US D&B to the forefront on American underground music once again.
