King Hannah are a Liverpool-based duo formed by Hannah Merrick and Craig Whittle, whose music exists somewhere between atmospheric indie rock, dream pop, slow-burning Americana and the darker edges of alternative music. Built around Merrick’s distinctive vocals and quietly incisive songwriting and Whittle’s expansive guitar work, they have developed a sound that is intimate and cinematic, shifting from hushed, hypnotic passages to towering waves of distortion.
