About
Jazie is a prolific songwriter, singer and musician from North London, writing and recording melodies and lyrics everyday. After teaching herself guitar and piano at 11, her natural flair for music led to an extensive portfolio of catchy bedroom creations, which she headlined on the Saturday night spot at renowned London venue, The Troubadour. She has recorded her first EP with Grammy Award-Winning producers in San Francisco which is now being released and is aiming to lift the nation’s spirit during lockdown and to raise money for the incredible children’s charity, NSPCC. Currently she is setting up a cutting-edge company combining music and neuroscience, looking at ways music can help moderate moods and emotions to increase positivity, creativity and relaxation. Jazie’s music is the epitome of nostalgic California-style soporific summer sounds which are both organic, authentic and uplifting; a mix of jazz, soul and country & western with inspiration from Fleetwood Mac, Sade, Joni Mitchell, KT Tunstall and Norah Jones. Jazie’s music leans into a wide array of emotions and topics encouraging empowerment, creativity, expression and promoting people to slow down and be present. Her music makes a statement of compassion, gratitude and connecting with oneself, one another and the world around us. With three albums worth of finished music in her portfolio, Jazie is ready to hit the ground running and share her music with the world.
