Jaël

Jaël’s first solo album Shuffle the Cards went straight to number two in CH sales charts. An impressive start to new solo career of the former Lunik frontwoman. The Bernese singer performed the album across Switzerland, in a show featuring hooky electric drums, loops and samples and Jaël’s distinctive, catchy voice. With the change of season, the singer-songwriter delivered an acoustic program: Jaël performed her own songs in a more intimate trio setting, with new arrangements highlighting the quality of the songwriting. The set complemented hit tunes from the Lunik era, and fans in Switzerland, Germany, UK and USA were happy to also hear pearls from Jaël’s other side project, MiNa on the pretty much sold out acoustic tour. October 2017 brought out Orkestra (Live); a live recording of Jaël’s concert featuring Lithuanian Klaipéda Kamerinski Orkestras, where she sang a wonderful and unique mix of her past twenty years. After the 2nd season of «Sing meinen Song», the fulminant-touching orchestral album Sinfonia, an extremely successful children/family album Sensibeli, a plethora of sold-out concerts honored with standing ovations, Jaël is currently on tour with her third solo album Midlife. It is a midlife assessment, with analyzing retrospection and deep gratitude. «Midlife» is a touching reflection of her personal life journey. Earlier work consists co-writing and singing with Canadian Band Delerium, Mich Gerber, DJ Tatana , Schiller and Gus MacGregor
