ISU (István Kántor) is a key figure in Hungary’s underground electronic music scene, active since the early 1990s. Starting as a cassette DJ and organizer, he became known for his dedication to music discovery and community building. His long-running radio show Eat da Beat on Tilos Rádió and the founding of Minimalheadz helped introduce electro and techno to local audiences.As the founder of AktRecords and co-creator of influential series like Lick the Click! and Technokunst, ISU has brought leading international artists to Budapest. Today, he remains a central force as a DJ, curator, and record store owner, shaping the scene with authenticity and innovation.
