dirt eater is a heavy, sludge-punk, power trio. Their sound ranges from desert rock to post-punk. It combines noise with elements of hardcore. It’s for fans of Kyuss, Unsane, Helmet, The Misfits, and spacey obscure classic rock. They came together in August of 2016. Guitarist Eric (ex-The Undertakers) got together with drummer Steve (ex- Ex Mortis) to flesh out some ideas. In 2021 Steve’s long time friend, Peter (ex- Illuminati/Poison To The Kool Kids) was asked to come and play bass.
